Tony Levin and his band Stickmen played Lost Horizon in Syracuse, NY on 6/19/09.

Tony Levin and his band Stickmen played Lost Horizon in Syracuse, NY on 6/19/09.

Stick Men is:

Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto (ex. King Crimson) and Michael Bernier.

I found out about this show just a few hours before, so I didn't have the SLR. I've listened to, and loved, Tony's work for more years than I care to admit. What a treat to find a show when travelling. Thanks iPhone and the Where app.

Tony and Michael played the Chapman Sitck, an amazing instrument Levin has been playing for years.

This was an amazing show with a mixture of originals and King Crimson songs.

The reformed Phish - Phish 3.0 - played the Nokia Theater at Jones Beach. This night, 6/5/09, was the last night of a three night run.

We even got at vacuum cleaner solo.

The left side of the stage was far more photo friendly.

Another point-and-shoot camera show. Why, oh why won't they let us bring nice cameras?

Phish at Nokia Theater, Jones Beach NY 6/4/09

The reformed Phish - Phish 3.0 - played the Nokia Theater at Jones Beach. This night, 6/4/09, was the second night of a three night run. The were as good as they were in their peak, the mid 90s. Maybe better.

Almost felt like I was in a time warp. They looked like they hadn't aged a bit.

Not too bad for using the little point-and-shoot camera at a large venue.
